Meeting of territorial tax authorities of 30 regions being held in Kazan

On September 18, All-Russia meeting of territorial tax authorities on issues of planning tax inspections and prejudicial settlement of tax disputes and their proceedings in courts chaired by deputy heads of the Federal Tax Service Dmitry Egorov and Sergey Arakelov opened at Volga Academy of Physical Culture, Sport and Tourism in Kazan.
About 1200 specialists representing 30 regional departments of the Federal Tax Service in Northwest, Ural and Volga Federal District will take part in a two-day meeting to discuss the quality of evidentiary basis according to results of supervisory measures, special aspects of tax inspections and settlement of tax disputes.
Opening the event, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov and Head of the Federal Tax Service in Tatarstan Marat Safiullin welcomed participants of the meeting.
Safiullin noted that participants of the seminar will exchange experience they will use in their work. He also said that tax revenues have increased twice for the last four years.
It was noted that Tatarstan is the leader in terms of budget revenues in Volga Federal District and it provides the fifth part of revenues in Volga Federal District and takes the sixth place in Russia.
Safiullin also paid attention to expansion of e-services in Tatarstan. He told that fiscal performance in the republic makes 100 per cent that bespeaks high level of tax administration.
According to him, much emphasis is put on quality and results of work of the supervisory department, especially under current difficult economic conditions.
Ildar Khalikov, in his turn, noted that issues to be discussed during the meeting have always been topical, and they are now even more important considering the current economic situation.
“We hope that the seminar will help Tatarstan specialists to improve the quality of supervisory work, prejudicial settlement of tax disputes and their proceedings in courts, as it enables increasing law knowledge of enterprises, organizations and individuals. It is important that government authorities improve their professional skills and initiate introduction of amendments to legislation,” Ildar Khalikov said.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “

There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
