Rustam Minnikhanov arrives with a working visit in Astana

On September 19, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov arrived in Astana to take part in days of culture of the Republic of Tatarstan in Kazakhstan.
At Astana airport Rustam Minnikhanov was met by Akim of Astana Imangali Tasmagambetov, Ambassador of Russia to Kazakhstan Mikhail Bocharnikov, Aide to Tatarstan President Radik Gimatdinov, Tatarstan First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, Tatarstan Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Akhmetov, and Head of OAO “Ak Bars Holding” Ivan Egorov.
During his visit Tatarstan President will meet Akim of Astana Imangali Tasmagambetov, Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kasym-Zhomart Tokaev, and heads of Tatar communities.

Days of the Republic of Tatarstan will be held in Kazakhstan on September 19-20. The cultural programme is organized by Tatarstan Ministry of Culture, Executive committee of Kazan, and Kukmor municipal region.
The concert of masters of arts of the Republic of Tatarstan will be held at the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation in Astana on September 19. State philharmonic orchestra of the Republic of Tatarstan conducted by Aleksandr Sladkovsky, State Song and Dance Ensemble of the Republic of Tatarstan will perform at the concert.
Photo exhibition and exhibition of masters of folk arts of the Republic of Tatarstan will be organized in the palace hall.
On September 20, Tatar national holiday Sabantui will be held at the square near Khan Shatyr Entertainment Center.

On 1 April Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Russian Minister of Healthcare Mikhail Murashko introduced Ayrat Farrakhov, who was appointed the Acting Rector of Kazan State Medical University (KSMU) to its staff.
In his speech Mikhail Murashko emphasized that today KSMU is rightfully considered one of the most respected in the country and said:”Ayrat (Zakievich) has been officially appointed the Acting Rector and I am sure that under his leadership the University will maintain the positions it has achieved and, of course, will continue its development.”

Leyla Fazleeva holds a meeting of the commission under the Rais of Tatarstan on the Russian language
On 31 March in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva hold a meeting of the Commission on the Russian language under the Rais of Tatarstan, which considered key issues of supporting and developing Russian language, including new educational initiatives and discussed programmes of popularization of Russian literature and activities to preserve the language heritage.

On 28 March, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with participation of the Acting Chairman of the State Council of the republic Marat Akhmetov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Azat Ziganshin informed that the regional central cleaning up action will be held in the republic on 25 April and clarified that the location of the national cleanup day will be announced later as the site will be chosen taking into account the opinions of Tatarstan residents.
On 28 March, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional and the Acting Chairman of the State Council of the republic Marat Akhmetov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Damir Shaydullin informed about statistics on the collection of utility bills payments from the population and data on the payment discipline of enterprises and organizations of the republic.
