Ildar Khalikov introduces new Head of Executive Committee of Chistopol Region

On September 22, early resignation of Head of Chistopol Region Executive Committee Marat Gubeev and Head of municipal region Ildus Akhmetzyanov was discussed at an extraordinary session of the regional council.
Deputies accepted Ildus Akhmetzyanov’s resignation, who was elected a deputy of Tatarstan State Council.
The former chief of Tatarstan Wildlife Protection and Management Department Dmitry Ivanov appointed first deputy head of the executive committee. Ildar Khalikov, who took part in the 38th session, offered to vote for appointing Dmitry Ivanov Acting Head of the Executive Committee of the municipal region.
The deputies of Chistopol municipal region unanimously supported the proposal of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov to assign Dmitry Ivanov Acting Head of the Executive Committee. The former head of the Executive Committee Marat Gubeev resigned voluntarily.
Ildar Khalikov highly estimated Ildus Akhmetzyanov’s four and a half years of work as Head of Chistopol region. “A lot of work on social and economic development of the town and region has been done, with various federal and regional programmes having been implemented,” the Prime Minister said.
He handed in the Medal For Merits in the Development of Local Government in Tatarstan to Ildus Akhmetzyanov, who, in his turn, gave the “Badge of merits for the town of Chistopol” to Ildar Khalikov.
The New Head of the Executive Committee of Chistopol region Dmitry Ivanov had held this post in 2010-2012. And most recently, he headed the Wildlife Protection and Management Department of the republic.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
