Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov arrives on a working visit to Czech Republic

On September 25, upon his arrival on a two-day working visit to Prague (Czech Republic), Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov was met by Governor of the South Moravian region Michal Hašek, Russian Ambassador to the Czech Republic Sergey Kiselev and other officials at the Václav Havel International Airport.
During his stay in the Czech Republic, Rustam Minnikhanov will hold talks with the regional businessmen, visit the Technology Innovation Transfer Chamber and INTEMAC research centers, and look around TOS KURIM’s production facilities. Meetings with Chairman of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic Jan Hamáček, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic Jan Mládek, Governor of the South Moravian region Michal Hašek are also scheduled.
Today in the afternoon, Rustam Minnikhanov will have a meeting with President of the Czech Republic Miloš Zeman.
Tatarstan President is accompanied by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Education and Science of the republic Engel Fattakhov, Aide to Tatarstan President Radik Gimatdinov and other Tatarstan officials.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
On May 14, Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan to take part in the events of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, was met by Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and other officials at the Kazan International Airport.
On 9 May Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a ceremony of laying flowers to the monument “The victorious soldier” dedicated to the celebrations of the Day of Victory in the Great Patriotic War (WW II) 1941-1945 and held at Arsk cemetery in Kazan.
