Tatarstan President meets Chairman of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic

On September 25, during his working trip to Prague, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with Chairman of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic Mr Jan Hamáček.
Rustam Minnikhanov shared his impressions from the first day of his working visit. "Today we met with the President of the Czech Republic, took part in a roundtable discussion with businessmen and have a very eventful programme to be held in the South Moravian region. I am convinced that our visit will give an additional impetus to the development of friendly relations and cooperation between Russia and the Czech Republic," Tatarstan President noted.
Minnikhanov informed Chairman of the Chamber of Deputies about the economic potential of Tatarstan, one of the leading industrial and investment drivers of Russia, actively participating in the integration processes within the emerging Eurasian Economic Union.
Our republic is interested in attracting Czech investors, for whom various areas of cooperation are open, Tatarstan President said. “We welcome the expansion of our cooperation in the sphere of tourism, science and education, the establishment of contacts between the parliament members,” Rustam Minnikhanov continued.
Assuring Mr Hamáček that Tatarstan is ready to provide overall support to implement joint projects, Rustam Minnikhanov invited him to visit the republic within the framework of his trip to the Russian Federation.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
