Results of the visit of Tatarstan delegation to Czech Republic summarized in Kazan

On September 30, at a briefing on results of the visit of Tatarstan delegation led by the President Rustam Minnikhanov to the Czech Republic (September 25-26), Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov said that a number of important agreements were signed between Tatarstan and the Czech Republic.
“We had a meeting with President of the Czech Republic Miloš Zeman, discussed issues of cooperation in chemical, engineering, energy sectors, and implementation of new energy-saving technologies. In the Soviet period Czechoslovakia supplied equipment for engineering enterprises. Today there is a great need for upgrading the equipment. We are also considering opening of machine-tool building enterprises, and we visited TOS Kurim enterprise in the Czech Republic,” Ravil Zaripov said.
“EU sanctions imposed on Russia were not beneficial on both sides. The Government of the Czech Republic does not support these sanctions and they do not conceal it,” the minister said.
Issues of cooperation in the sphere of tourism, culture and higher education were also discussed during the visit.
Tatarstan delegation met Czech Minister of Industry and Trade Jan Mládek, Czech businessmen and Chairman of the Chamber of Deputies of Czech Parliament Jan Gamachek.
During their visit to Brno, members of Tatarstan delegation took part in opening of new research centre Technology Innovation Transfer Chamber (TITC).
Agreements on cooperation were signed between the Republic of Tatarstan and South Moravian region, Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan and South Moravian region.
Moreover, a few meetings on issues of aviation and import substitution in the sphere of engine building were held.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
