Rustam Minnikhanov meets leadership of Organization of Islamic Cooperation

On October 2, on his first day of visit to Saudi Arabia, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met leadership of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. Upon arrival Rustam Minnikhanov had a conversation with the Governor of Mecca province Mishaal ibn Abdullah ibn Abdulaziz.
Tatarstan President also met leadership of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and Ambassador of Russia to Saudi Arabia and Russian Presidential Envoy under the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Oleg Ozerov.
Issues of further cooperation between Tatarstan and OIC were discussed at the meeting. Rustam Minnikhanov will also visit holy places by the invitation of the King of Saudi Arabia Abdullah ibn Abdilazīz.
On 2 March in her address on the occasion of the Mentor’s Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: “Since 2025 this holiday established by Russian President Vladimir Putin has occupied a worthy place in the calendar of significant dates of our country, emphasizing the high status and significance of the mentoring mission.
On 28 February, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Director of the Fund “The Institute of Development of Tatarstan Cities” Nailya Nagumanova informed about preparation to the implementation of the Our Yard programme in the republic.
On 28 February, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference , the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector of the republic Marat Ayzatullin reported the statistics on collection of utility payments and payment discipline.
On 28 February, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference , the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector of the republic Marat Ayzatullin informed that 170 educational facilities will have capital overhaul by federal and regional programmes, having added that the bulk of the projects are planned to begin at the start of the summer holidays.
