Tatarstan President sends telegrams of congratulations to leaders of Muslim clergy on Eid al-Adha holiday

On October 4, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov sent telegrams of congratulations to leaders of the Muslim clergy on the occasion of Eid al-Adha holiday.
The congratulatory telegrams were sent to Supreme Mufti, Chairman of the Central Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Russia Talgat Tadzhutdin, Chairman of the Russian Mufties Council, Chairman of Muslims Spiritual Board of European part of Russia, Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gainutdin, Chairman of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Tatarstan Mufti Hazrat Kamil Samigullin.
The telegrams, in particular, read that the event will bring peace and joy, give occasion to show the best of human qualities, strengthen ethnic-confessional mutual understanding, social cohesion and civic unity in our country.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
On May 14, Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan to take part in the events of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, was met by Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and other officials at the Kazan International Airport.
On 9 May Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a ceremony of laying flowers to the monument “The victorious soldier” dedicated to the celebrations of the Day of Victory in the Great Patriotic War (WW II) 1941-1945 and held at Arsk cemetery in Kazan.
