New Manager of National Bank of the Republic of Tatarstan introduced to the staff

On October 7, new Manager of the National Bank of the Republic of Tatarstan introduced to the staff. Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and First Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of Russian Federation took part in the event.
Evgeny Bogachev, who has been the bank manager for 20 years, resigned. The Minister of Economy Midkhat Shagiakhmetov was appointed to this position.
Georgy Luntovsky read out the order about assignment of Midkhat Shagiakhmetov to the position of Deputy Head of Volga-Vyatka Head Office of the Bank of Russia – Manager of the National Bank of the Republic of Tatarstan.
He also noted that for the first time Manager of the National Bank of the Republic of Tatarstan was appointed Deputy Head of Volga-Vyatka Head Office of the Bank of Russia, which proves serious attitude to the Republic of Tatarstan.
“Today Tatarstan takes the third place in terms of banking sector development and stands out amongst other regions. Due to support of local leadership and bank management no disturbances have occured at the National Bank of the Republic of Tatarstan for the last 20 years,” Georgy Luntovsky said. He thanked Evgeny Bogachev for his contribution to development of banking sector and handed the badge of honour “For honourable service at the Bank of Russia”.
Rustam Minnikhanov also noted the merits of Evgeny Bogachev and his contribution to development of Tatarstan economy. “Evgeny Bogachev is one of the most respected managers. He puts his soul into everything he does,” the President said and wished him health and good luck.
Rustam Minnikhanov handed the medal of the Republic of Tatarstan “For valorous labour” to Evgeny Bogachev.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
