Agricultural fair of educational institutions of the republic held in Kazan

On October 11, a traditional annual fair of agricultural produce grown by educational institutions of Tatarstan was held in Kazan. Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Akhmetov, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Education and Science of Tatarstan Engel Fattakhov, Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the republic Elmira Zaripova visited rows of shopping stalls at the Agro-industrial park.
It was for the first time this year the annual fair was held on such a large scale. The regional educational institutions having their own agricultural farms presented their agricultural products at the Agro-industrial park. As many as 60 educational institutions from all municipal regions of the republic, which took part in the fair, brought potatoes, onions, carrots, beets, meat and handicraft items to Kazan.
Ildar Khalikov looked around shopping stalls, talked to buyers and students, then addressed participants and guests of the fair from the stage.
First of all, the Head of Tatarstan Government thanked teachers. "Such a wonderful fair, which hardly has any equals in Russia, is the result of your efforts," Khalikov said.
He reminded that the hands-on training of agricultural workers in fields is a good tradition established in the education system of the republic long time ago.
On behalf of Kazan citizens he also thanked all those who have brought their products to the Agro-industrial park to provide residents of the capital of the republic with quality products at affordable prices.
On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects. We all remember with gratitude the outstanding philanthropists – the Akchurin brothers, the Alafuzovs, and the Ushkovs, whose good deeds and generous donations contributed to the development of culture, education, and healthcare in our republic. The glorious traditions are continued by modern philanthropists and patrons of Tatarstan.
On 12 April in his address to residents of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated them with the Space Exploration Day and said: “April 12, 1961 has forever been inscribed into the world history as the day of triumph of the Soviet science and engineering thought. The flight of Yuriy Gagarin opened the way to the stars for the humankind and demonstrated to the whole world the might of our country.
On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
