Rustam Minnikhanov pays a visit to Cyclades islands (Greece)

On October 15, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov paid a working visit to Cyclades islands (Greece) at the invitation of region’s authorities. Chairman of Tatarstan State Committee on Tourism Sergey Ivanov, Chairman of Tatarstan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Shamil Ageev were on the delegation of the republic.
Upon visiting some islands of the Cyclades group, Rustam Minnikhanov met Governor of Cyclades Giorgos Leontaritis and business representatives of the region.
The meeting discussed issues related to development of cooperation between Tatarstan and Cyclades islands, particularly in the field of tourism.
Tatarstan President noted opportunities for cooperation in the sphere of education, organization of pilgrimages to Orthodox holy places at the islands, and appreciated the achievements the region had made in preservation of historical monuments. According to Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan specialists should study the experience of Greece in museumification of archaeological finds.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
