Tatarstan President: “Naberezhnye Chelny should keep their potential”

On October 16, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a session of Naberezhnye Chelny city executive committee, where Nail Magdeev was appointed Head of city executive committee.
Rustam Minnikhanov wished Nail Magdeev to keep and realize the city potential efficiently.
At the beginning of the session Nail Magdeev delivered a speech before deputies of the city council and answered their questions.
When the deputies voted for assigning Nail Magdeev Head of Naberezhnye Chelny city executive committee, Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated Nail Magdeev on the event.
“Working is such a big city is a complicated and responsible task that requires certain skills and experience. Naberezhnye Chelny has its history, traditions, and it is important to keep and realize the city potential,” he said.
The President noted that automobile construction is the main industry in Naberezhnye Chelny.
He also said that the decision was made to reconstruct the Victory park. Answering questions about construction of schools and kindergartens, Rustam Minnikhanov stressed that it requires significant means. However, 56 new kindergartens have been built in Tatarstan this year, and the work will be continued.
Rustam Minnikhanov reminded participants of the session that Naberezhnye Chelny is located in the centre of Kama industrial cluster that enabled the city creating new production facilities and developing the existing ones.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
