Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in opening of educational seminar on National rating of investment climate in Russian regions

On October 17, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov took part in opening of the educational seminar on the National rating of the investment climate in Russian regions at Tatarstan Government House.
The event is held in the format of video conference with the participation of all Tatarstan municipal regions.
Speaking at the event, Rustam Minnikhanov noted that it is the first regional educational seminar held by non-profit organization “Agency for Strategic Initiatives to Promote New Projects” (ASI). He thanked the organization for their work and noted that studying the investment climate in constituent entities of the federation is very important, and issues of increasing investment attractiveness of Tatarstan and creation of innovative economy need to be worked out.
Director of The Boston Consulting Group Igor Kustarin made a keynote report at the seminar. He told about goals and tasks of the National rating, its methodology and presented areas of Tatarstan development.
The National rating of the investment climate in Russian regions is a joint project of top business associations and Agency for Strategic Initiatives aimed at objective assessment of activity of authorities on improving business climate in regions. Main principle of the rating is to compare regions in accordance with 54 indicators regardless of geographical, climatic and infrastructure conditions.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
