On October 22, at the Kazanskaya Yarmarka exhibition center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov took part in a solemn opening of the XVI specialized exhibition "DorTransExpo-2014".
The event will be attended by about 56 companies from Kazan, Tatarstan and 10 Russian regions. Road construction and utility special-purpose machinery, road infrastructure facilities and research developments are displayed at the exhibition. Also, a professional skill competition meeting the World Skills standards will be held within the framework of the show.
Welcoming participants and guests of the event, Ildar Khalikov congratulated road workers on their professional holiday and thanked them for effective work. “All the tasks set by Tatarstan President have been completed in due time and with high quality,” he said.
He continued that it would have been impossible to accomplish such ambitious tasks without modern machinery and technologies. “The preparation for the Universiade showed that only modern technologies enable us to provide the proper quality and speedy execution of all works. And today's exhibition is one more opportunity for our road builders to see all the industry's latest developments," Ildar Khalikov said.
He also noted with satisfaction that it has become a good tradition to hold a contest of professional skills at the exhibition. According to Khalikov, this contest will be one more step to holding the World Skills competition in Kazan.
Minister of Transport and Roads of the republic Lenar Safin handed in awards to the winners of the contest "Best Product of the Exhibition" after which the honoured guests cut the symbolic ribbon and looked around the exposition.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
