Roundtable “Priorities of Tatarstan development strategy” held at forum XIII All-Russian Forum «Strategic Planning in the Regions and Cities of Russia»

On October 28, at a roundtable “Priorities of Tatarstan development strategy” within the framework of XIII All-Russian Forum «Strategic Planning in the Regions and Cities of Russia» Director of the Resource Centre for Strategic Planning at Leontief centre and research manager of the project “Tatarstan-2030” Boris Zhikharevich said that the first edition of the project “The strategy of social and economic development of the Republic of Tatarstan till 2030” will be presented this year in the middle of December.
Moderators of the roundtable were Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov and Chairman of the Committee of civiс initiatives, Chairman of the Expert Council of the project “Tatarstan-2030” Aleksey Kudrin.
Boris Zhikharevich made a keynote report on the project “Tatarstan-2030”.
Developers of the project, - Leontief centre and regional authorities have done a large amount of work: working groups and project sites have been formed, a lot of events with participation of businessmen, educational and scientific workers have been held.
Zhikharevich stressed that work on human capital, creation of comfortable environment for human capital and public institutes are required for further development. The principles of further development are mass quality education, talent management, increase of credibility level in society, equity of confessions, support of vertical mobility according to abilities and competence.
Talent pool of Tatarstan, migration of human resources, reasons of outflow of young people from the region were also discussed at the session.
After the roundtable session Ildar Khalikov answered questions of representatives of federal media agencies.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
