Tatarstan President meets Chairman of Supervisory Council of Knorr-Bremse AG

On October 29, at their meeting at Tatarstan Government House, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Chairman of Supervisory Council of Knorr-Bremse AG Mr Heinz Hermann Thiele discussed current issues related to the activity of the Knorr-Bremse KAMA Joint Venture and prospects for further development of the company in Tatarstan.
Knorr-Bremse AG, a German company, is one of the world’s leaders in production of brake systems for trucks and railway transport. In Tatarstan, the company and KAMAZ (the largest automobile corporation in Russia) have established a joint venture producing brake assemblies in Naberezhnye Chelny.
Director General of OAO “KAMAZ” Sergey Kogogin also took part in the meeting.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.

On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.

Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.

On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
