Rustam Minnikhanov: “Functioning of social sphere is of primary importance”

Republican videoconference of financial, treasury and tax bodies of republiс "About results of implementation of consolidated budget of Republic Tatarstan for the I half-year 2009 and tasks of financial, treasury and tax bodies of republiс till the end of 2009” was held in the RT Cabinet by RT Prime Minister R.N.Minnikhanov.

RT Minister of finances Radik Gaizatullin reported on results of implementation of republican consolidated budget for half-year. He informed that in the first half-year 2009 63,5 bln. roubles have been mobilized to Tatarstan consolidated budget. Income decreased because profit tax reduced for 8,6 bln. roubles, tax for production of minerals – for 1,4 bln. roubles, tax for income of physical persons digressed from rates of 2008 for 800 mln. roubles.

Radik Gaizatullin said that salary for employees of budget institutions is paid in time. According to operative data by results of the first half-year total volume of accounts payable of budget institutions in regions and cities has decreased for 263 mln. roubles (9%) in comparison with beginning of year.

Summing up, Rustam Minnikhanov said that our treasury bodies should intensify their work. All purchases in republic should be public. “Negative situation which had been forecasted proved to be right. As a matter of fact prices for oil started to go down. It means that economic situation has not stabilized yet. It is going to be more difficult. Though republican budget was supported by federal and received 10 mln. roubles, we are going down”, - Rustam Minnikhanov said.

Prime Minister stressed that ensuring stability is the main priority for today. Functioning of social sphere is of primary importance.
