Ildar Khalikov takes part in All-Russia meeting on civil defense

On October 31, in Sochi, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov took part in an All-Russia meeting with heads of federal executive authorities on problems of civil defense and protection of population.

Over 300 representatives of the federal and regional executive authorities, 11 heads of federal agencies and departments, as well as heads of the central office of local agencies and organizations of the Russian Emergencies Ministry took part in the meeting.

Today, during the plenary session and workshop on the development and improvement of civil defense, the meeting discussed problems of the civil defense in the country, considered issues related to improvement and development of civil defense and protection of the population to meet modern standards. First Russian Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations Sergei Shlyakov, Deputy Minister of Ministry of Emergency Situations Vladimir Stepanov, heads of executive agencies and organizations made their reports at the meeting.

Also, large-scale special tactical training exercises to demonstrate the latest rescue technology in practice were held within the framework of the meeting at the Imeretinsky cargo port.
