During the visit to Kazan Vice Premier of Russian government Sergey Ivanov visited Regional centre of space services

Vice Premier of Russian government and his attendants are in two-day working visit in the capital of Tatarstan. During the visit he plans to look over some innovative business sites, Kazan aircraft production association named after Gorbunov and other objects.

Sergey Ivanov is accompanied by Tatarstan Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov.

Regional centre of space service has been created on the basis of Centre of information technologies (CIT).

Director of CIT Nikolay Nikiforov presented the organization.

On the territory of innovative production technopark “Idea” Sergey Ivanov saw auto machinery, equipped with navigation receivers of Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS).

Minister of civil defense and emergency situations of Republic Tatarstan Rafis Khabibullin told about mobile control stations of RT Ministry of civil defense and emergency situations (on the basis of automobile “KAMAZ”).

The mobile control station serves for operative delivery of managing staff and equipment to places of emergency situations. It is equipped with high-speed satellite communication VSAT, system of communication WMax (up to 16 km) and ultra-short-band station.

Minister of health care of Republic Tatarstan Airat Farrakhov reported about equipment of ambulance cars and resuscitation cars with such navigation receivers. He particularly said that cars of emergency services with modern equipment are necessary for servicing highway M7.

GNSS technologies are also being used in work of Ministry of ecology and nature resources of Republic Tatarstan (cars of ecological control).
