Results of placement of municipal order in 2008 discussed at session of the RT Cabinet presidium

Head of Tatarstan government Rustam Minnikhanov said at session of the RT Cabinet presidium that under crisis economic conditions people became more interested in state order. Thus, it is necessary to provide transparence of trading and equal terms to participate in them.

The videoconference was held jointly with Presidium of Council of municipal units of Republic Tatarstan. Representatives of all municipal regions of Tatarstan took part in the session.

Tatarstan Prime Minister considers that we should provide good information support and effective work of trading sites. The main problem today is that there is no fair competition in this sphere.

Minister of economy of Republic Tatarstan Marat Safiullin made report “About placement of state and municipal order of Republic Tatarstan”. In particular he informed that volume of state order in Tatarstan makes more than 10% to the volume of gross regional product. Annual growth of volumes of state and municipal orders covers 25 %.

By words of Marat Safiullin, on-line trading and open contests appeared to be most economically effective during 5 months of 2009. He also stressed that with appearance of buying register (created in 2009) it is possible to take into account the whole volume of state order.

Director General of state unitary enterprise “Agency for State Order, Investment Activity and. Interregional Relations of the Republic of Tatarstan” Yakov Geller proposed to use structure of state order to municipal order, to set up the electronic trade information system and arrange recording of complaints from a municipal customer.
