Tatarstan President meets Board Chairman of Chelyabinsk Pipe-Rolling Plant

On November 14, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a working meeting with Board Chairman of Chelyabinsk Pipe-Rolling Plant Alexander Fedorov. The meeting was also attended by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister - Minster of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, Aide to Tatarstan President on Economic Affiars Airat Khairullin, First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the republic Andrei Pominov, Deputy Director General of JSC “Chelyabinsk Pipe-Rolling Plant” (“ChelPipe”) Maksim Ignatiev, Executive Director of JSC “AlNAS” Sergey Sachenko.
The meeting discussed prospects of development of the ALNAS Plant (located in town of Almetievsk, Tatarstan) owned by the Rimera Group which is a division of the ChelPipe. Alexander Fedorov has presented the results of the company activity for the first nine months of 2014, stressing that the ALNAS managed to achieve record production in the last five years. The plant has doubled production of electric centrifugal pumps, boosting its sales up to 315 million roubles per month, which is 40 per cent higher as compared to the same period last year.
Also, the meeting discussed prospects of participation of the ChelPipe in cooperation between Tatarstan and Kazakhstan. It was decided to include representatives of the ChelPipe in a working group on the development of cooperation, as Kazakhstan is a key export destination for the ChelPipe Group and the ALNAS plant in particular.
Minnikhanov expressed his confidence that this decision will not only favour the development of the ALNAS plant, but also make a significant contribution to the strengthening of relations between Tatarstan and Kazakhstan.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
