Rustam Minnikhanov meets state Minister for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship of India Rajiv Pratap Rudy

On November 18, during his working trip to India (November 18-19), Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met Minister for Skill Development, Entrepreneurship and Parliamentary Affairs of India Mr. Rajiv Pratap Rudy. They discussed cooperation in the sphere of personnel training and professional development.
Rajiv Pratap Rudy said that he would do his best to favour development of relations with Tatarstan within the framework of Russia-India cooperation, and special attention will be paid to education. The minister also noted that for the last five months new Indian government focused on reforms.
Rustam Minnikhanov thanked Rajiv Pratap Rudy for an opportunity to meet and told about projects in the sphere of education and professional development implemented in Tatarstan. He also told about creation of resource centers that are aimed at training specialists for the real sector of economy. He noted that industrial enterprises are interested in activity of resource centers, and mentioned Tatneft Oil Company as they have their own personnel training programme.
Rajiv Pratap Rudy was interested in modern educational system, ranking of higher educational institutions, and total number of students in Tatarstan.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
