Rustam Minnikhanov meets representatives of Indian Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas

On November 18, at their meeting in India, during his working trip to India (November 18-19), Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who came on a working visit to the country, and representatives of Indian Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas discussed issues of cooperation and strengthening of existing business relations.
Specialists of Indian Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas noted that the country is experiencing shortage of hydrocarbons and there are serious prospects for cooperation.
Representatives of Indian companies and large industrial holdings told about activity in the sphere of oil production and processing, and noted that they were interested in Tatarstan experience in the sphere of determination of the quality of hydrocarbons.
Tatarstan President briefly told about the region’s economy and main industries and noted that Tatarstan is one of five most developed regions in Russia.
Minnikhanov continued that oil production and processing are main economic sectors in the republic. He suggested creating a working group of Tatarstan and Indian officials to study perspective areas of cooperation.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
