Rustam Minnikhanov meets leader of Indian Muslims Ahmed Bukhari

On November 18, during his working trip to India, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met Ahmed Bukhari, the leader of Indian Muslims, imam of Jama Mosque, Delhi.
The meeting was held after Tatarstan-India Business Forum.
Rustam Minnikhanov welcomed Mr Bukhari and told him about Tatars living in Tatarstan and other regions of Russia, work on preservation and restoration of Muslim sacred places located in the Republic of Tatarstan (ancient town of Bolgar).
Tatarstan President invited Mr Bukhari to Kazan, and said that the annual economic summit - Kazansummit is held in June with the auspices of the OIC, when the capital of Tatarstan becomes the economic site of cooperation between Russia and Islamic countries.
Minnikhanov also told about his visit to India, his meetings with officials and businessmen. He stressed that the main purpose of the current visit is intensification of relations with India, as both parties are interested in developing cooperation.
In his turn, Mr Bukhari said he heard about Tatarstan as one of economically developed regions of Russia. He welcomed Rustam Minnikhanov on behalf of Indian Muslims and wished successful stay in the country.
Mr Bukhari suggested developing relations between Tatarstan and Indian Muslims.

On 24 April in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin held a joint meeting the Council for Enforcement of Legislation of Languages of Tatarstan and the organizational committee for celebrations of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay which summarized results of work of the regional law enforcement on official languages of the republic and considered progress of the implementation of the plan of main events for preparation and celebration of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay .
On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects.
