Rustam Minnikhanov meets Maharashtra Chief Minister

On November 19, at his meeting with Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Governor Vidyasagar Rao in Mumbai, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov suggested preparing and signing the agreement on cooperation between Tatarstan and Maharashtra (India).
Minnikhanov stressed that cooperation between Tatarstan and India is developing as a part of close and friendly Russia-India relations.
The President noted that during their working visit to India, Tatarstan delegation held a number of meetings at Indian ministries, took part in Tatarstan-India business forum, and negotiations with business partners.
“Development of relations between our countries will depend on further efficient work at interregional level,” Rustam Minnikhanov said. He continued that an opportunity of preparing and signing the agreement on cooperation between Tatarstan and Maharashtra should be considered.
Expansion of business contacts, exchange of business delegations, cultural exchange, cooperation in the sphere of tourism, education and health care were discussed at the meeting.
Rustam Minnikhanov also suggested considering organization of direct flights between Tatarstan and Indian cities.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
