Rustam Minnikhanov: We are interested in cooperation in many areas

On November 19, in Mumbai, a presentation of the Essar Holding Company (India) and AMW Motors, one of India's largest truck manufacturers, was made for Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and members of Tatarstan delegation, who are on a working visit to India.
The Essar Holding has facilities in India, Indonesia, USA, Canada and other countries. One of its main activities is steel production, from raw material to the sale of finished products. The company is also engaged in the production of energy, oil refining and petrochemistry, construction and maintenance of major ports and other activities.
AMW Motors Company is among the three largest producers of heavy trucks in India.
“We are interested in cooperation in many areas”, Minnikhanov said after the presentation.
In particular, representatives of the AMW Motors suggested cooperating with the KAMAZ Automaker (distribution, procurement of components, etc.).
The Indian partners are also interested in expanding cooperation with the Kazan Helicopter Plant, including maintenance of helicopters operated in India.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
