Rustam Minnikhanov visits Larsen and Toubro in Mumbai

On November 19, in Mumbai (India), Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Larsen & Toubro Company.
The company is one of the largest companies in the field of infrastructure construction (construction of airports, seaports, railway infrastructure, etc.), as well as shipbuilding (civil and military shipbuilding).
The Larsen and Toubro’s management representative told in details about the production of heat and hydro power plants, steam turbines, development and manufacture of drilling rigs and platforms. The company also manufactures specialized equipment for the petrochemical industry.
Minnikhanov expressed his interest in cooperation in several areas. He briefed about ongoing construction projects in Tatarstan in the petrochemical industry. “We want to learn more about your possibilities and establish a long-term partnership,” the Tatarstan President said.
According to him, there are several areas for potential cooperation, including construction of a complex for processing heavy residues ("Taif-NK") and ethylene complex.
Minnikhanov and his party also visited the Larsen and Toubro production facilities.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
