On November 25, at the Volga Region State Academy of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Director of the Department of State Policy in the Sphere of Children and Young People's Upbringing of the Russian Ministry of Education Alexander Stradze, Chairman of Russian Union of Youth Pavel Krasnorutsky and other Russian and regional officials took part in a solemn ceremony of awarding winners the Russian National Award “Student of the year -2014”, which was held within the framework of the All-Russia Student Forum for the first time this year.
Before announcing the name of the winner, Alexander Stradze and Ildar Khalikov welcomed participants of the ceremony.
Alexander Stradze expressed his gratitude to citizens and Government of the republic "for the new Russian standards of sports, science and education, social partnership, youth policy." He also said that the Minister of Education and Science of the Russian Federation Dmitry Livanov signed a decree to establish the Russian Student Centre.
Also, it was decided that the winner of the Student of the Year Grand Prix will be entitled to participate in public councils of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia and Federal Agency for Youth Affairs and represent students there during the year before the next competition.
Ildar Khalikov noted that best students from all over Russia, including future outstanding scholars, athletes, politicians, business leaders, etc. were brought together in Kazan. "We are proud of the fact that event managers have chosen Kazan to hold the forum which is a fusion of energy and talent," he said.
After that, the Head of Tatarstan Government announced the Grand Prix winner. In addition to the Student of the Year - 2014 title, Ekaterina Voytysheva, a student of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, received a certificate for 200,000 roubles.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
