Session of “Tatneftekhiminvest-holding” held in Kazan

On November 26, a number of projects important for Tatarstan economy were considered at a board session of “Tatneftekhiminvest-holding” ( a coordination and expert centre, working in a wide range of business lines of Gas & Petrochemical Complex, Kazan) held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.
Head of the Department of gas chemistry of ZAO “Haldor Topsoe” Maksim Valkovsky, who took part in the session, made a presentation about company opportunities following the results of the visit of Rustam Minnikhanov to Denmark on October 9, 2014.
The company is engaged in engineering in the sphere of gas chemistry, oil refinery, environmental protection technologies, new and developing technologies.
Expansion of cooperation of Haldor Topsoe with Nizhnekamskheftekhim and TANECO petrochemical companies, education of students and post-graduates, internships for Tatarstan specialists at company laboratories in Denmark were discussed at the session.
Director General of OAO “Moscow Institute of Material Engineering and high performance technologies” Marsel Bikbau presented new concrete production technologies and road construction. In particular, he told about nano-cement that is very topical for Tatarstan as one of the biggest consumers of cement in Russia. An opportunity of opening production facilities in the republic was discussed at the session.
On 12 January, congratulating employees of the prosecutor’s office with their professional holiday - Day of the employee of the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation- Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin wrote in his address:
“For more than three centuries the prosecutor's office has been the guardian of state and public security as well as constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens of our country.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatutllin informed that in the current year the Ministry will take part in implementation of five national projects and three state programmes with planned construction and capital overhaul of 172 facilities for the total sum of 17bn rubles.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov informed that it is expected to achieve a comparable growth of produce of 1.5%, including that in food production - at least 2.6% in the agricultural sector.
On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.
