Winners of regional contest “Best goods and services of the Republic of Tatarstan” awarded in Kazan

A solemn awarding ceremony of winners of the contest “Best goods and services of the Republic of Tatarstan” and All-Russia contest “100 best goods of Russia” 2014 was held at Kazan City Hall on November 28. 229 enterprises and organizations that presented 440 products took part in the 11th annual regional contest.
146 goods and services became winners of the contest “Best goods and services of the Republic of Tatarstan”, 59 of them are laureates. Diplomas of the programme “100 best goods of Russia” were awarded to 83 products.
“Participation in these contests is very important for Tatarstan producers. Quality has become the key factor in reaching competitiveness of products in the world. It refers not only to products and services, but also to business administration. The contest “Best goods and services of the Republic of Tatarstan” has helped promoting high-quality products and services at regional, Russian and international markets,” Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov said in his welcoming speech.
Khalikov noted that every year the number of participants in the contest increases that shows opportunities of companies to produce competitive products.
According to CEO of the interregional public organization “Academy of problems of quality”, director of the programme “100 best goods of Russia” (Moscow) Evgeny Sidorov, the contest was held in 70 regions this year. He noted that Tatarstan products have always been of high quality and the region is holding leading positions.
Sidorov handed the badge of honour “For excellence in quality” to Ildar Khalikov, and awarded Kazan bakery No.3 with one of the main prizes of the contest – “The taste of quality”.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
