Exhibition “Mechanical Engineering. Metalworking. Kazan” opened in Kazan

On December 3, at the exhibition center "Kazanskaya yarmarka" Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a solemn opening of the 14th specialized exhibition "Mechanical engineering. Metalworking. Kazan” and 9th exhibition "Technowelding" in Kazan.
As many as 147 companies from Russia and four countries, representing their metalworking and mechanical engineering are taking part in the events.
An international scientific conference "Innovative mechanical engineering technology" will be held within the framework of the exhibitions.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Minnikhanov noted with satisfaction that the number of participants is increasing every year.
"Yesterday we had a number of important events with the participation of Russia’s Prime Minister, including opening a new plant" Ford Sollers” and visiting KAMAZ Automaker production facilities in Naberezhnye Chelny. Therefore,Tatarstan is a machine-building republic, and development is hardly possible without major modernization and without our partners. So, it is good that we have this exhibition, " he said.
Adviser to the Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Viktor Semenov read out a greeting on behalf of the Head of the Ministry of Denis Manturov to participants of the exhibition. After that, the honorable guests cut a symbolic ribbon and looked around the exhibition.
On 12 January, congratulating employees of the prosecutor’s office with their professional holiday - Day of the employee of the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation- Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin wrote in his address:
“For more than three centuries the prosecutor's office has been the guardian of state and public security as well as constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens of our country.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatutllin informed that in the current year the Ministry will take part in implementation of five national projects and three state programmes with planned construction and capital overhaul of 172 facilities for the total sum of 17bn rubles.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov informed that it is expected to achieve a comparable growth of produce of 1.5%, including that in food production - at least 2.6% in the agricultural sector.
On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.
