Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov meets Vice-Governor of Saint-Petersburg Mikhail Mokretsov

On December 4, at his meeting with Vice-Governor of St-Petersburg Mikhail Mokretsov at Tatarstan Government House, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov said that Tatarstan and Saint-Petersburg are bound by long-term and close relations.
Welcoming the guests, Khalikov noted that a representative delegation from St. Petersburg arriving in Tatarstan testifies an interest in the region.
According to him, an extensive itinerary made for St. Petersburg colleagues will allow them to know more about Tatarstan. “Tatarstan and Saint-Petersburg are bound by long-term and close relations,” Tatarstan Prime Minister said. “These include a trade-economic, research-technology and socio-cultural cooperation agreement signed in 2009, as well as Days of Republic of Tatarstan traditionally held in Saint-Petersburg, and Sabantui Tatar festival.”
On behalf of Tatars living in the northern capital, Khalikov thanked the Saint Petersburg authorities for meeting the community’s requests.
The Prime Minister briefed on regional economy and the most important projects implemented in Tatarstan.
The delegation from St. Petersburg led by its Vice-Governor Mikhail Mokretsov arrived in Kazan on a two-day working visit. The main event scheduled within the framework of their stay is opening the Business Contacts Exchange, where industrial and investment potential of the republic will be presented, to be held on December 4. The delegates will also visit IT Park, Himgram Techopolis and look around the Aquatics Palace and Kazan Arena stadium.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
