Minnikhanov visits Butlerov Institute of Chemistry and Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies at Kazan Federal University

On December 6, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Butlerov Institute of Chemistry under construction and a new building of the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies at the Kazan Federal University (KFU).
The building construction of the Butlerov Institute of Chemistry is almost completed. The foundation stone laying ceremony was held within the framework of the International Butlerov Congress on Organic Chemistry in September 2011.
Students told Minnikhanov about projects implemented at the KFU, as well as grants they received for their research.
During his round of the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies Minnikhanov looked around its laboratories and classrooms, as well as talked to students.
Representatives of the Institute told Tatarstan President about scientific work carried out at the university, and the use of the most modern methods of investigation in their work.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
