Alabuga Special Economic Zone enters the highest level of energy supply reliability

On December 8, in the Alabuga Special Economic Zone, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in commissioning a new 600 MW distribution substation to offer resident companies the highest category of energy supply reliability.
The new 110 kV distribution substation receives 350 MW of electricity from two sources of power supply – the Toima-2 (100 MW) and Schelokov-500 (250 MW) substations, and in the future it will be able to receive additional 218 MW of electricity from the Yelabuga heat power station.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Minnikhanov emphasized the importance of the event. "For many of our residents it is very important to have uninterrupted power supply. It was not an easy task, we solved it step by step and finally we coped with it," he said.
“Today, the SEZ "Alabuga" has the highest level of energy supply reliability, and I am convinced that this increases the competitiveness of our special economic zone by many times," Minnikhanov said.
On 2 March in her address on the occasion of the Mentor’s Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: “Since 2025 this holiday established by Russian President Vladimir Putin has occupied a worthy place in the calendar of significant dates of our country, emphasizing the high status and significance of the mentoring mission.
On 28 February, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Director of the Fund “The Institute of Development of Tatarstan Cities” Nailya Nagumanova informed about preparation to the implementation of the Our Yard programme in the republic.
On 28 February, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference , the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector of the republic Marat Ayzatullin reported the statistics on collection of utility payments and payment discipline.
On 28 February, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference , the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector of the republic Marat Ayzatullin informed that 170 educational facilities will have capital overhaul by federal and regional programmes, having added that the bulk of the projects are planned to begin at the start of the summer holidays.
