Rustam Minnikhanov visits Interskol plant in SEZ “Alabuga”

On December 8, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, Aide to Tatarstan President on Economic Affairs Airat Khairullin and other regional officials visited a plant for the production of power tools “Interskol” in the Alabuga Special Economic Zone.
The new plant of the Russian company “Inerskol” was launched in the SEZ “Alabuga” on October 13 of the current year. Today, the company produces a wide range of power tools - mostly electric drills, rotary hammers. In 2015, it is planned to release 2 million units of electrical equipment, and upon commissioning all three lines and reaching full production capacity the company’s annual output will make 5 million units.
Minnikhanov was demonstrated finished products, machines for stamping plastic parts and aluminum die-casting machines, and assembly line of electric motors. Tatarstan President praised the level of the enterprise and asked to consider the possibility of buying the company's products in the framework of the implementation of major investment projects.
Also, today, in the SEZ “Alabuga”, Minnikhanov held a meeting on operation and development of "Kastamonu Entegre” (MDF panels). The meeting reviewed the issues related to providing the company with raw materials, plans for 2015 and prospects for construction of the second stage of the plant.
On 12 January, congratulating employees of the prosecutor’s office with their professional holiday - Day of the employee of the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation- Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin wrote in his address:
“For more than three centuries the prosecutor's office has been the guardian of state and public security as well as constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens of our country.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatutllin informed that in the current year the Ministry will take part in implementation of five national projects and three state programmes with planned construction and capital overhaul of 172 facilities for the total sum of 17bn rubles.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov informed that it is expected to achieve a comparable growth of produce of 1.5%, including that in food production - at least 2.6% in the agricultural sector.
On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.
