Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in negotiations of leaders of Russia and India

On December 11, during his working trip to India, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in negotiations of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
At the meeting Vladimir Putin spoke about progressive development of Russia-India relations in all areas, and noted that several documents would be signed according to results of the visit. It will be a serious step in developing relations between two countries, Putin stressed.
Vladimir Putin introduced members of the delegation, and said that Russian leadership would stick to that policy in relations between Russia and India that was developing for decades.
Narendra Modi noted that Russia is the closest friend and privileged partner of India. “This is a very precise wording, based on current situation and history of our relations,” Putin commented.
Narendra Modi said that at their meeting with Vladimir Putin before te negotiations, they agreed to focus on trade and economic issues.
A number of agreements and contacts were signed between Russia and India in the end of negotiations.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
