By the end of 2009, the minimal pension in Russia should reach size of a living wage made such statment today in Kazan Board chairman of the Russia's Pension fund Anton Drozdov. Anton Drozdov has arrived in capital of Tatarstan with a working visit, for participation in inter-regional seminar "Preparation of RF Pension fund bodies for work in 2010 in conditions of administration of insurance payments on obligatory pension and medical insurance».
Prime Minister of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a seminar.
Addressing the participants of the seminar, Anton Drozdov reminded that within 2009 four indexations of pensions has been held. By the end of year, the average size of social pensions will come up to the amount lightly more than 4200 rbl., Board chairman of the RF Pension fund said.
In 2010, the process of pension increase in Russia will be continued.
Anton Drozdov reminded also that since 2010 for citizens whose pension appears below size of a living wage, social surcharge (federal or regional) would be granted.
For increasing pensions it is necessary to step up the sources of receipts in the budget, Anton Drozdov considers. He advised to speed up the work with tax services, services of judicial police officers.
Besides, Board chairman of RF Pension fund informed that the decision on introduction of additional number of workers of the Pension fund had been accepted.
Answering the questions of journalists upon end of the seminar, Anton Drozdov informed that during begun in the country валоризации the pension rights of citizens will be raised{increased}. So if to consider{count} on the average, Mr. Drozdov has told, during retirement benefit valorization, pension rise can make up to 1200 rbl.
«The pension in valorization process will raise for all citizens differently, depending on so-called « the Soviet experience », - Anton Drozdov informed. It 1 % for every year experience till 1991 and 10 % - for the experience between 1991 and 2001. On the average it is about 1200 rbl. When we considered the variants of valorization, such a decision was accepted."
According to Anton Drozdova, these measures will allow to lower a share of the citizens having today small pensions.
