Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in celebrations on the occasion of 45th anniversary of KAMAZ truck manufacturer

On December 12, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in celebrations on the occasion of 45th anniversary of KAMAZ truck manufacturer in Naberezhnye Chelny. The show of KAMAZ trucks and exposition of OAO “KAMAZ” historical museum were presented at the square near the Organ hall.
The event began with the performance dedicated to 45th anniversary of KAMAZ, where a famous actor and film director Nikita Vysotsky played the leading role.
Rustam Minnikhanov handed awards to best employees of OAO “KAMAZ” and congratulated everyone on the important event.
The medal of the Republic of Tatarstan “For valorous labour” was awarded to KAMAZ Director General Sergey Kogogin.
Speaking at the event, Minnikhanov stressed that KAMAZ performs a large amount of work on modernization of production.
“We cannot imagine Tatarstan without KAMAZ, we are proud of you,” the president said addressing employees and veterans of the enterprise.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
