Rustam Minnikhanov on the brand “Heritage of Tatarstan”: "What we have done is beneficial to everyone"

On December 15, in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan State Counsellor, Chairman of the Board of Guardians of the Regional Fund “Revival” Mintimer Shaimiev, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Chairman of Tatarstan State Council Farid Mukhametshin and other officials attended a presentation of the brand “Cultural Heritage of Tatarstan."
The Apostol Center For Strategic Communications lead by Tina Kandelaki has worked on the brand in the republic during the year. The aim of the project is to increase tourism and investment attractiveness of the republic.
The Tatarstan brand is a kind of marketing image of the historical and cultural heritage of the republic meant to set out a visual style for branding the republic in terms of its rich historical and cultural heritage. "Heritage of Tatarstan", as emphasized by its developers, is Russia's first brand, revealing the "cultural code of the region".
Speaking at today’s ceremony Mintimer Shaimiev said: "I believe that today we are witnessing an event that will eventually become the intangible heritage. The brand of cultural and historical heritage of the Republic of Tatarstan with its centuries-old traditions, rich history, stability of well-being and constant striving forward was submitted for your approval."
Representing the brand, journalist, TV presenter, producer and public figure, CEO of the Apostol Media Company Tina Kandelaki said: "We have invested a lot of efforts so that the brand could pass the main message of the place where we are now. While creating it, we opened not only Tatarstan to the world, we wanted to show and prove that Tatarstan citizens are people who remember their origins and at the same time are very forward-looking. And having the most amazing, cutting edge and breakthrough ideas, Tatarstan people stand on a solid foundation of their nation. This is so cool and important."
Kandelaki stressed that for her and her team work on the brand of "Heritage of Tatarstan" has become a serious challenge, and thanked all those who helped in the work on the project.
Minnikhanov expressed his confidence that the brand of Tatarstan will contribute not only to promoting the republic and creating its image, but also will be an example for other Russian regions.
On 12 January, congratulating employees of the prosecutor’s office with their professional holiday - Day of the employee of the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation- Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin wrote in his address:
“For more than three centuries the prosecutor's office has been the guardian of state and public security as well as constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens of our country.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatutllin informed that in the current year the Ministry will take part in implementation of five national projects and three state programmes with planned construction and capital overhaul of 172 facilities for the total sum of 17bn rubles.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov informed that it is expected to achieve a comparable growth of produce of 1.5%, including that in food production - at least 2.6% in the agricultural sector.
On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.
