Governors of regions of Volga Federal District visit “Patriot” center in Kazan

On December 19, governors of regions of Volga Federal District accompanied by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the center of sports, patriotic and preservice training “Patriot” and assembly place of Military Commissariat of the Republic of Tatarstan in Kazan.
The center was founded on April 24 2007. According to the state programme of patriotic education of Russian citizens, and the Regional complex programme of patriotic education of children and youth, “Patriot” center is developing a mechanism of developing socially important values, civic consciousness and patriotism during the educational process; carries out mass patriotic work organized by government structures, public movements and organizations.
The center includes equipped classes, sleeping area, mini football, volleyball and streetball grounds, climbing wall, obstacle zone, training area, and museum of search movement of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The guests were met by students of cadet school, showed around the center and told about experience of the republic in preservice training.
On 12 January, congratulating employees of the prosecutor’s office with their professional holiday - Day of the employee of the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation- Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin wrote in his address:
“For more than three centuries the prosecutor's office has been the guardian of state and public security as well as constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens of our country.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatutllin informed that in the current year the Ministry will take part in implementation of five national projects and three state programmes with planned construction and capital overhaul of 172 facilities for the total sum of 17bn rubles.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov informed that it is expected to achieve a comparable growth of produce of 1.5%, including that in food production - at least 2.6% in the agricultural sector.
On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.
