Tatarstan President: "We should maintain victorious traditions of Tatarstan motorsport”

On December 19, speaking at a traditional ceremony on results of the year, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov expressed his hope that the next motorsport season will be more successful for Tatarstan pilots than the last one.
Summing up results of the season, President of Tatarstan Motorsports Federation Ivan Egorov, noted the development of motorsport in the republic. In 2014, new disciplines of motorsport appeared in Tatarstan. Twenty-five Tatarstan referees, who took part in organizing and holding F1 Russian Grand Prix, gained invaluable experience.
Welcoming participants of the ceremony, Minnikhanov noted that Tatarstan racers have not gained many international victories in 2014, only the KAMAZ-Master team has achieved a success abroad. "We held 50 motorsport events in Tatarstan. The republic has one of the best teams of referees, one of the best systems of holding motorsports competitions and, I believe, the best motorsport federation. We have a huge potential and we hope that the next season will be more successful," he said.
"We should maintain victorious traditions of Tatarstan motorsport. We have many talented pilots who can gain a victory," Tatarstan President said.
Minnikhanov handed in awards to activists of Tatarstan motorsport and Motorsport Federation of the republic.
On 5 February Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in ceremony of awarding winners of the regional competition “The Woman of the Year. The Man of the Year: A Woman’s View” held at the Korston Leisure and Recreation Center in Kazan.
On 4 March at a briefing in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Minister of Land and Property Relation Fanil Agliullin told about changes in land legislation enforced from 1 March of the current year. He said that they simplify a number of procedures for land plot owners including expanding the possibilities for land use and changing the rules for changing the category of a plot.
On 2 March in her address on the occasion of the Mentor’s Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: “Since 2025 this holiday established by Russian President Vladimir Putin has occupied a worthy place in the calendar of significant dates of our country, emphasizing the high status and significance of the mentoring mission.
On 28 February, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Director of the Fund “The Institute of Development of Tatarstan Cities” Nailya Nagumanova informed about preparation to the implementation of the Our Yard programme in the republic.
