Ildar Khalikov takes part in awarding winners of regional contests “Ecoleader” and “Man and nature”

On December 22, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov took part in solemn awarding of winners of regional contests “Ecoleader” and “Man and nature” at Korston hotel, Kazan.
The contests aim to draw public attention to problems of ecological safety, promotion of environmental protection activities and activation of work of regional media agencies that cover ecological problems.
Ildar Khalikov noted that the contests are held for the 11th time in the republic, and every year results show that more people become aware of importance of taken environmental protection measures. Enterprises, organizations, and regions offer their own ideas. For example, a unique project “Green record” was realized in Kazan.
“I am glad that our oil-producing companies do even more in the sphere of environmental protection than is stipulated by the laws.
OAO “Tatneft” Oil Company was announced the winner in the contest “Ecoleader”. OAO “TANECO”, “Kazan house-building factory”, “Forest selection seed center of the Republic of Tatarstan”, “Chelny vodokanal”, Naberezhnye Chelny paper and paperboard factory, and Kazan oil-extracting plant also won prizes.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
