On December 23, at a briefing on results of tourist year and events to be held in New Year holidays, Head of Tatarstan State Committee on Tourism Sergey Ivanov said that 2.3 million tourists visited Tatarstan for 11 months of 2014.
The volume of tourist services rendered in Tatarstan for 9 months of 2014 made 8 billion and 360 million roubles. 1 million and 415 people have visited excursions, expositions and cultural events at the Kazan Kremlin.
The number of tourists coming to Sviyazhsk increased twice and made 180, 000.
