Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in a joint session of Russian State Council and Council for Culture and Art

On December 24, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who is on a working visit to Moscow, took part in a joint session of State Council and Council for Culture and Art chaired by Vladimir Putin on the implementation of the state cultural policy.
The meeting focused on issues pertaining to ensuring freedom of art, preserving and using material and non-material legacy of the peoples of Russia in education and mentoring, on the development of the Russian and national languages, literature, and the creation of information environment favourable for character building.
At the meeting, the President announced that he has signed an Executive Order approving the Basics of the State Cultural Policy. According to Vladimir Putin, the document “reflects the attitude to culture as a mission, as a public good and historical legacy, as a system of values and moral ideals".
The project "The Basics of the State Cultural Policy" was developed by a working group led by the Head of the Kremlin administration Sergei Ivanov.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
