Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov meets participants of Antarctica 100 expedition

On December 26, at his meeting with the participants of the  Antarctica 100 expedition of All-Russian non –profitable governmental  organization “Russian Geographical Society”, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov thanked them for the record of the dive to the depth of 97 meters in the Antarctic waters and presented them with state awards of the Republic of Tatarstan: Medals for Valorous Labour and  letters of gratitude of Tatarstan President.

During the meeting the participants told the president about the difficulties in the navigation and conditions.

The head of Tatarstan branch of the Russian Geographical Society  Dimitri Schiller said that a certificate confirming a world record is given to the team. He added that their next goal is to dive on the North Pole.
