Awards of Government of the Republic of Tatarstan “For quality” presented in Kazan

On December 26, in Kazan, Tatarstan First Vice-premier Aleksey Pesoshin handed in awards to winners of 10th regional contest for awards of Government of the Republic of Tatarstan “For quality”.
The contest was established in April 2003. Awards were given to enterprises and organizations for achieving considerable results in the sphere of quality of products and services, and implementing high-performance methods of quality management.
Opening the event, Aleksey Pesoshin said that integration of enterprises with top world producers in the sphere of quality management has been observed in the republic, and the contest has become very popular.
Pesoshin noted that the title of the contest winner is appreciation of Tatarstan Government and a brand known across the country.
Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov told that 86 companies submitted applications for participation in the contest in 2014. Industrial enterprises, health care, social, building and educational organizations took an active part in the contest.
Seven organizations became laureates of the contest with 19 winners.
On 12 January, congratulating employees of the prosecutor’s office with their professional holiday - Day of the employee of the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation- Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin wrote in his address:
“For more than three centuries the prosecutor's office has been the guardian of state and public security as well as constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens of our country.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatutllin informed that in the current year the Ministry will take part in implementation of five national projects and three state programmes with planned construction and capital overhaul of 172 facilities for the total sum of 17bn rubles.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov informed that it is expected to achieve a comparable growth of produce of 1.5%, including that in food production - at least 2.6% in the agricultural sector.
On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.
