Management of "Kempinski" hotels is interested in construction of hotel in Kazan

The working group on studying prospects of cooperation will be created following the results of the meeting between Prime Minister of Republic Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Management of Austrian building company « Strabag AG » and " Kempinski" hotels network.

During a meeting, which took place today at the RT House of Government, the prospects of construction in Kazan of “Kempinski” hotel were discussed.

RT Prime Minister thanked the guests for the interest shown to the republic. He noted that today Tatarstan is exerting efforts to become more recognized in the world. As he said, the capital of Tatarstan - Kazan - is one of the unique cities of Russia. The further development of capital, no less than development of the republic as a whole depends on what conditions can be provided to the visitors, tourists coming to the city, Rustam Minnikhanov said.

We are interested in world brands - the companies-leaders in their areas, modern technologies, service to have come to us, Prime Minister of Tatarstan stated.

The representative of " Kempinski", VP of group of hotels “Kempinski " in countries of the East Europe and Russia Janni Van Daalen informed, in turn, that the company is focused on expansion of business in Russia. As he said, the "Kempinski" management already has a plan for developing its network in our country.

« We see the prospects of developing our network in Kazan », - Mr. Janni Vab Dalen said.

As Aide to RT Prime Minister on foreign trade activities Iskander Mouflikhanov informed upon the end of a meeting, the main task put today by head of the RT Government, - to be defined with the project of future hotel " Kempinski ". Besides, the project should be realized in capital of Tatarstan before 2013 ( Universiade-2013) .

RT Minister of construction, architecture and housing and communal services Marat Khusnullin, mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and others were present at the meeting.
