Tatarstan President inspects construction of facilities in Innopolis

On December 30, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov inspected the construction of Innopolis innovative satellite-town near Kazan. The first inspected facility was Popov Technopark, where Minnikhanov and accompanying persons looked around the ground and first floors, and other units. Rustam Minnikhanov was reported that Ak Bars Bank and Post of Russia became the park’s first tenants.
President of Tatarstan proceeded by visiting Innopolis University’s campus, where he assessed the quality of quarters designed for students’ accommodation and, through a newly built passage between the training and residential buildings, walked to the university’s building. Minnikhanov was shown auditoriums and laboratories, as well as a canteen and a kitchen.
The next inspected facility was one of the blocks of flats in the new town’s residential area. Innopolis staff and specialists will rent flats there. Minnikhanovinspected one and two-room furnished flats with house appliances installed.
He has given an errand to supervise the construction of Innopolis facilities on a weekly basis.
During his inspection tour, Tatarstan President was accompanied by Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Minister of Communication and Information of the republic Roman Shaikhutdinov, Tatarstan Minister of Construction and Architecture Irek Faizullin, Aide to Tatarstan resident Airat Khairullin, Director General of Innopolis Igor Nosov, and other regional officials.

On 5 February Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in ceremony of awarding winners of the regional competition “The Woman of the Year. The Man of the Year: A Woman’s View” held at the Korston Leisure and Recreation Center in Kazan.
On 4 March at a briefing in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Minister of Land and Property Relation Fanil Agliullin told about changes in land legislation enforced from 1 March of the current year. He said that they simplify a number of procedures for land plot owners including expanding the possibilities for land use and changing the rules for changing the category of a plot.
On 2 March in her address on the occasion of the Mentor’s Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: “Since 2025 this holiday established by Russian President Vladimir Putin has occupied a worthy place in the calendar of significant dates of our country, emphasizing the high status and significance of the mentoring mission.
On 28 February, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Director of the Fund “The Institute of Development of Tatarstan Cities” Nailya Nagumanova informed about preparation to the implementation of the Our Yard programme in the republic.
