Amount of crops to be kept at the same level in Tatarstan in 2015

On January 5, at a regional meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Akhmetov said that Tatarstan leadership is going to keep the amount of crops at the same level in 2015, – 2.9 million hectares.
Summarizing results of agricultural works in 2014, the minister said that 6.1 million tonnes of crops have been produced in the republic. The total area of winter crops has made 590, 000 hectares.
Akhmetov noted that financial support is one of the main problems in agricultural industry today. Also, prices for necessary material resources such as fertilizers, protection products, spare parts, and seeds, have increased. In general, rise in prices for the sowing campaign is expected at 5 billion roubles.
Commenting on the minister’s report, Ildar Khalikov said that 2015 will be a challenging year for agricultural industry and economy.

“For more than three centuries the prosecutor's office has been the guardian of state and public security as well as constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens of our country.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatutllin informed that in the current year the Ministry will take part in implementation of five national projects and three state programmes with planned construction and capital overhaul of 172 facilities for the total sum of 17bn rubles.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov informed that it is expected to achieve a comparable growth of produce of 1.5%, including that in food production - at least 2.6% in the agricultural sector.
On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.
