Rustam Minnikhanov: "I am sure that the staff of the Investigative Department of the Investigation committee of Russian Federation in Tatarstan will cope with the tasks set in 2015"

On January 26, speaking at a summing-up meeting of the Investigative Department of the Investigation committee of Russian Federation in Tatarstan President of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov said that the regional leadership appreciated the work of the department in 2014 and hoped that they will continue to work with the same efficiency and professionalism in the future.
Head of the Department Pavel Nikolaev made a report on the results of work of the Investigation Department in 2014. He said that in the past year the law enforcement agencies of the republic conducted solid work to struggle against crime. The Investigation Department made a significant contribution to this work. He continued that last year the crime rate decreased by 3 per cent as compared to the previous year.
Minnikhanov said in particular that the law enforcement agencies of the republic have done a lot of work to struggle against extremism and terrorism. "It is necessary to continue working in this direction. Investigators should take all legal measures to prevent extremism, identify reasons for committing such crimes, as well as eliminate funding channels of extremist activity,” he added, calling investigators to work more closely with the public authorities of the republic, people and religious associations.
"I am sure that the staff of the Investigative Department of the Investigation committee of Russian Federation in Tatarstan will cope with the tasks set in 2015,” Minnikhanov summed up.
Tatarstan President thanked the staff for their service, integrity and high moral character and handed in a number of state awards.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
